Kelly Grimsley Kia of San Angelo will soon take delivery of the new 2017 Kia Cadenza. This elegant four-door sedan offers higher levels of luxury, technology and convenience than its predecessor. As the second generation Cadenza this new model has evolved with a stronger body structure and new powertrain enhancements. It also includes Kia’s first front-wheel drive eight-speed automatic transmission for improved driving dynamics and fuel efficiency.
New Cadenza body styling reflects a simple sculpted contour line that extends the full length of the vehicle. Although this new model remains the same length as previous models it is slightly wider and lower in height. The wider frame allows for increased legroom for rear passengers and an increased trunk space for more cargo room.
The new Kia Cadenza will have a redesigned front fascia. It will still house the classic Kia grille but will also have a new hexagonal shape that emphasizes the Cadenza’s width and signature wide set headlamps. The front end has also received a new conceive shape that curves around the engine bay, creating a handsomely chiseled face.
Improvements inside the cabin include higher quality, soft touch materials. The new Cadenza features a wraparound dashboard that flows seamlessly into the door panels. Soft leather and available quilted seat bolsters are accented with diamond-shaped stitching. The 2017 model is also offered with more customized interior color combinations, including trim sets with new dark brown leather and a black wood-grain finished with a pearlescent sheen.
Powered by a revised version of Kia’s 3.3-liter V6 engine the new Cadenza continues to offer remarkable efficiency. The powertrain delivers 290 horsepower and 253 lb-ft of torque. The engine provides power to the front wheels via a new FWD-based eight-speed automatic transmission. These improvements allow for quick gear shifts and a more engaging driving experience.
This new model is a winning combination of style, comfort and performance. It will be offered with several trim options for a price well below other luxury sedans in the same class.
