As one of Kia Motors America’s best selling vehicles the Kia Forte is now in its third generation. The all-new 2019 Kia Forte compact sedan is better than ever with advanced technology, a more efficient powertrain and a sleek new look.
The new Kia Forte will help drivers stay connected with advanced technology while focusing their attention to the road ahead. A standard 8-inch color touchscreen has been placed in the dash within the driver’s line of site. The infotainment system is Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® ready with the capability to read smartphone device texts aloud through Bluetooth®. New standard safety features on the Kia Forte include Driver Attention Warning, Forward Collision Warning and Lane Departure Warning technology.
Under the hood of the new Kia Forte is Kia’s second-generation 2.0-liter Nu four-cylinder engine with Atkinson Cycle technology and a cooled EGR system. Typically reserved for electric and hybrid vehicles, the Atkinson Cycle and cooled EGR technologies are designed to help boost fuel efficiency. The 2019 Kia Forte will be available with a choice of two transmission types, the standard six-speed manual or an all-new Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT).
The 2019 Kia Forte retains its sporty and youthful appearance but this new model has an elevated and more sophisticated look. New sleek and dynamic styling for the Forte has been borrowed from the new Kia Stinger fastback sport sedan. The new Forte’s long hood and short deck lend it an overall fastback-like shape.
